Jutland mead (jyde)

This mead is from Denmark. There is a strong mead with 20.6% alcohol in a 0.7-liter clay bottle.
He tastes mild in spite of its high percentage and has a lovely honey-bodied flavor.

The honey was added hops. It was also added to a herb called Bitter "Riga Balsam. This wonderfully spicy herbal drink usually has 45% alc content. By adding this herb gets the JYDE MJÖD ad its 20.6% alc. the result is a wonderfully spicy mead, an herbal liquor is very similar.

For meadfans an absolute must. According to an old recipe from the 18th Century brewed.
