This mead is from Denmark. There is a strong mead with 19% alcohol in a 0.7-liter clay bottle.
He tastes mild in spite of its high percentage and has a lovely honey-bodied flavor.

The mead was brewed with apples.

The mead was brewed in connection with celebrations marking the 1300 anniversary of the oldest town in Denmark (RIBE). The recipe was developed in collaboration with the Ribe Viking Centre.

For meadfans an absolute must. According to an old recipe from the 18th Century brewed.
